Did you know that you can complete your formal hearing with the Appraisal Review Board in the comfort of your own home? The Travis Appraisal Review Board now offers you the option to have your formal hearing by telephone. We feel it's important to make this process as easy as possible so all property owners have the opportunity to protest their property value in a convenient manner.
You must submit your request for a phone hearing at least 10 days before your hearing. To request a phone hearing, please fill out the request form below or email email@example.com. You may also mail a written request to Travis Appraisal Review Board, PO Box 149012, Austin, Texas 78714.
We recommend that property owners submit their evidence at least three days before your hearing. To submit documents and evidence for a phone hearing, the property owner must submit a signed and notarized affidavit. If a signed and notarized affidavit is not received prior to your hearing, you will not be allowed to provide any evidence during your telephone hearing; however, the Appraisal Review Board will allow you to offer argument related to the evidence presented by the appraisal district.
We also offer an online electronic notarization process at no charge to you. Simply fill out the request form below to begin the process. A representative will e-mail you with a custom link to the affidavit form to complete the process.
